Celebrate Petworth started in 2014 when a group of community organizers in the Petworth neighborhood came together to create a new kind of neighborhood festival: one that seeks to bring together the residents of our neighborhood through the creation of new opportunities for collaboration, partnership, and engagement between local businesses, residents and community-based organizations. And it's been a hit in the neighborhood ever since!

The Main Stage will be filled with continuous live music and entertainment from featured local performers. Over 40 vendors and exhibitors with art, food, crafts and more will be on-site. And of course, the annual Celebrate Petworth Dog Show is always a major hit. We aim to have something for everyone, including a children's area, a Petworth Oral History panel, the Dog Show, the AU Humanities Truck, and more.

The festival will take place rain or shine and is free to the public.

Celebrate Petworth 2024 is organized by Petworth Main Street and a committee of amazing volunteers.
